1. Who we are
This website is operated by FHAVI Ltd (“FHAVI”, “we”, “us”), company number [Company registration number], registered in [Country of registration], with its registered office at [Registered office address]. For any privacy question or request, contact us at md@fhavi.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact or quote forms, or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide:
- your name and email address;
- your business name and store URL;
- the services you are interested in and your description of the problem or project;
- optional details such as your store platform, Merchant Center status, budget range, timeline, preferred contact method and phone number.
Please do not send passwords, payment card details or other sensitive information through our forms.
Information collected automatically
When you submit a form, our server briefly uses your IP address to prevent abuse, for example by limiting repeated submissions. It is not stored with your inquiry. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may also keep technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request) for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
Data we access while providing services
When you engage us, we may access your store, Merchant Center, advertising or email accounts, which can contain your customers' personal data. We process that data only to perform the work you have asked us to do, following your instructions, and as described in our agreement with you.
3. How we use your information
- to reply to your inquiry and arrange an initial consultation if you request one;
- to prepare proposals and quotes;
- to deliver, manage and report on the services you engage us for;
- to issue invoices and keep business records;
- to protect our website and services against misuse; and
- to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
4. Legal bases for processing (UK and EEA)
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on:
- taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing a contract with you;
- our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and keeping our services secure;
- compliance with legal obligations, such as accounting requirements; and
- your consent, where we specifically ask for it.
5. Who we share information with
- service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, database and email delivery providers, acting on our instructions;
- contractors and virtual assistants involved in delivering your services, who are bound by confidentiality obligations;
- professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where necessary; and
- authorities, where we are required to by law.
6. International transfers
We serve clients internationally, and we and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
7. How long we keep information
If an inquiry does not lead to an engagement, we keep it for [retention period, for example 24 months] and then delete it. Client records are kept for as long as needed to provide the services and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including limiting access to the people who need it and using individual staff or collaborator accounts rather than shared logins. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Residents of some US states have similar rights under state law. To make a request, email md@fhavi.com.
If you are in the UK or EEA, you can also complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
10. Children
Our services are intended for businesses. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
12. Contact
