Merchant Center & Product Feeds

Fix the issues behind your Google Merchant Center suspension

Misrepresentation flags, suspended accounts and disapproved products usually trace back to specific website, policy or product-data problems. FHAVI investigates your account, identifies the likely causes, implements the corrections you approve, and prepares a review request only when the store is ready for one.

The problem

Why Merchant Center problems are hard to fix alone

Google's notices are brief. A misrepresentation suspension can relate to missing business information, inconsistent shipping or return terms, unclear pricing, checkout problems or product claims — and the notice rarely says which.

Requesting a review too early can work against you: after unsuccessful requests, Google may impose a waiting period before you can ask again. The safer approach is to find and fix the underlying problems first.

Our work focuses on what you control: your website, your policies, your business information and your product data.

Who this service is for

  • Merchants with a suspended Merchant Center account, including misrepresentation suspensions
  • Stores with products disapproved for policy, data-quality or landing-page issues

Deliverables

What the work includes

The exact deliverables for your project are confirmed in your written scope.
  • Merchant Center diagnostics

Review of account status, policy notices, diagnostics, business information and linked accounts to establish exactly what Google has flagged.

  • Suspension and misrepresentation investigation

A page-by-page review of the storefront against Google's Shopping policies, focused on business identity, transparency and customer-facing terms.

  • Product disapproval troubleshooting

Item-level analysis that separates feed data errors from landing-page and policy issues, so each disapproval gets the right fix.

  • Policy and business-information consistency review

Checks that contact details, shipping, returns, refunds and terms match across your website, checkout and Merchant Center — using accurate information you provide.

  • Product feed error diagnosis

Identification of attribute, identifier, pricing and availability errors in your feed or the Shopify Google & YouTube app sync.

  • Corrective implementation

The fixes you approve, applied to pages, settings and product data, with each change documented so it can be checked.

  • Review-request preparation

Where appropriate, guidance on when and how to request a review, based on the corrections actually completed.

  • Follow-up review

A check of the completed changes and account status after implementation, with recommended next steps.

Scope

Engagement process

How we work on this service

  1. Step 1: Share access safely

You add FHAVI as a user in Merchant Center and as a staff or collaborator account on your store. You never share your own password.

  2. Step 2: Diagnose

We review account notices, diagnostics, website pages, policies and product data, then explain what we found and what it means.

  3. Step 3: Agree the corrections

You approve a written list of corrections and the price before any implementation starts.

  4. Step 4: Implement and document

We make the agreed changes and record each one, so you can see exactly what was done.

  5. Step 5: Prepare for review

Once corrections are complete, we advise on the review request and check the account again afterwards.

FAQ

Google Merchant Center questions

More answers on our FAQ page.
Can you guarantee my Merchant Center account will be reinstated?
No. Google alone decides whether an account is reinstated and how long a review takes. What we can do is identify likely causes, correct issues within your website and data, and help you request a review when the account is genuinely ready.
How long does Merchant Center remediation take?
Diagnostics come first, and the scope of corrections depends on what we find. Our implementation timeline is confirmed in your written scope. Google's review time is outside our control and varies from case to case.
Will you create a new Merchant Center account for me?
No. Opening new accounts to get around a suspension breaks Google's policies and can make the situation worse. We work on your existing account and the underlying issues.
What's the difference between a standard and a complex case?
Standard cases usually involve one store with fixable website, policy or feed issues. Complex cases involve repeated rejected reviews, extensive redevelopment, several linked accounts or unclear business information. We confirm which applies after the initial audit.
What access do you need?
Standard user access to Merchant Center and a staff or collaborator account on your store platform. You keep ownership of every account and can remove our access at any time.
